The next Elusive Target coming to Hitman World of Assassination is Eminem — or rather, his alter ego Slim Shady. In an inspired twist, the person hiring master assassin Agent 47 to take out Slim Shady is none other than Eminem.
Hitman World of Assassination‘s new Elusive Target mission was revealed Thursday during Microsoft’s November 2025 Xbox Partner Preview showcase. According to a post on Xbox Wire, the younger Slim Shady alter ego of the rapper “has become an entirely separate, violent entity, and our intrepid assassin is tasked with taking him out by the real Eminem, in fear that his own creation will come for him.” Based on a reveal trailer for the Eminem vs. Slim Shady Elusive Target, it appears that, yes, Agent 47 may be able to poison mom’s spaghetti to kill off Em’s younger self.
Here’s the official breakdown of the new mission, via Xbox Wire:
Set within a medical facility in Hokkaido that has been reconfigured into the chaotic Popsomp Hills Asylum, the mission follows Agent 47 as he infiltrates a surreal environment where doctors, patients, and performers blur into one. Slim Shady has transformed his former operating theatre into a fully equipped broadcasting studio, where he delivers erratic live performances to a captive audience of staff and inmates. Players must track him across several interconnected areas, for example, a recording studio or a bizarre “Group Training Session” where he brainwashes the doctors to participate in his evil scheme of weaponizing music.
The new Elusive Target mission shares a theme with Eminem’s most recent studio release, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). That 2024 concept album saw the rapid-fire rapper battling against his younger alter ego and featured cover art that depicted Slim Shady in a partially unzipped body bag.
Elusive Targets in the Hitman series offer limited-time and limited-opportunity missions to kill specific subjects, and many involve celebrity cameos. In addition to Eminem/Slim Shady, Elusive Targets have included actors Sean Bean, Gary Busey, and Jean-Claude Van Damme, and mixed martial artist Conor McGregor. Those real-world people typically play amplified versions of their real-world personas.
Hitman World of Assassination is available on just about everything, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. The Eminem vs. Slim Shady Elusive Target arrives Dec. 1 and runs through Dec. 31.
