There are several daunting grinds to perform in Battlefield 6 from the moment you launch the game. However, no grind features rewards more sought-after than weapon camos. You can earn several base camos on every weapon in Battlefield 6, and these can be applied to any other weapon you have unlocked. But when it comes to the Mastery Camos, those are exclusive to a specific weapon, meaning you have to unlock the Mastery Camo for every individual weapon in Battlefield 6.
Naturally, players want to earn the Mastery Camo for their favorite weapons, and true completionists will want to unlock the camo for every weapon in the game eventually, just like they’ll want to unlock all free skins in Battlefield 6. With how complicated camo-tracking can be in Battlefield 6, though, you might find it difficult even to find where the Mastery Camo can be equipped, let alone how to earn it.
How to unlock most camos in Battlefield 6
Before we can fully explain how to earn the Mastery Camos in Battlefield 6, you’ll have to understand how camos are unlocked in general.
The primary way you’ll unlock weapon camos is by ranking up every weapon to different weapon mastery level thresholds. For most weapons in Battlefield 6, you unlock a unique camo at weapon mastery level 20, level 30, and level 40. You can track a weapon’s current mastery level by equipping it in the loadouts menu and then looking at the right side of its attachment screen. You’ll see the weapon badge along with a number, which is the weapon’s current level.
Once you reach level 20, 30, or 40, you can head into the “Camos” section when on a weapon’s attachment screen. Here, you can see all of the available weapon camos in Battlefield 6. Unfortunately, there’s no way to filter the camos by weapon or by the ones you have unlocked, so you’ll have to scroll through the different camo menus to find which camos you’ve earned. When you find the camo you’ve unlocked, all you have to do is click on it to equip it on your weapon.
How to unlock Mastery Camos in Battlefield 6
Now that we’ve covered the base camos in Battlefield 6, let’s get into the Mastery Camos.
In Battlefield 6, the Mastery Camo is called “Unstoppable Force,” and it has a brass/bronze finish to it that shines brightly against a well-lit light source. You can only earn the Unstoppable Force camo by reaching the max weapon mastery level for a weapon in Battlefield 6. For most weapons, this requires reaching level 50, but some secondaries and other weapons have a lower max level.
Unlike the regular camos for a weapon, though, you won’t find Unstoppable Force in the camo menu. Instead, Unstoppable Force is a Weapon Package for all weapons in Battlefield 6. You can view it by following these steps:
- Go to the Loadouts menu and select a class
- Click on your weapon, but don’t click “Customize”
- This will bring you to the menu where you can equip any weapon
- From here, select “Modify” on a weapon, which brings you to its Weapon Packages screen
- You can now view all of the weapons’ available Weapon Packages, including Unstoppable Force
When you hover over Unstoppable Force, you can customize the package to see how it looks in the attachment screen. After you reach the max weapon mastery level for a weapon, you’ll be able to equip Unstoppable Force as a Weapon Package. This package only applies to that specific weapon, though.
This means you have to max out every single weapon’s level in Battlefield 6 to unlock all Mastery Camos in the game. As you have undoubtedly experienced so far, the weapon leveling process in Battlefield 6 is extremely lengthy, with one single weapon taking dozens of hours to rank up fully. So you can try and do the math for how long it will take to unlock the Mastery Camo for all weapons in the game. Hint: it’s hundreds of hours.
