This release time applies to the Standard Edition only, as those who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition were able to play seven days early, on September 18, thanks to the early access perk. The Ultimate Edition also includes additional bonuses, such as the Season 1 Premium Pass, 6000 FC Points, and an extra player evolution slot. However, while the Standard Edition costs $69.99, the Ultimate Edition is listed at $99.99 on Steam, so you’ll need to pay a premium price for the extra content.
