NVIDIA has published a new driver, the GeForce 572.60 WHQL. This new version fixes the black screen problems encountered with the brand’s RTX 50s. It also includes support for new games and new G-Sync displays. We break it all down.
GeForce 572.60 WHQL, what’s new :
Among the new features is the addition of support for new games. This driver will support games such as Naraka Bladepoint DLSS4 and Monster Hunter Wilds.
In addition, NVIDIA has added support for a large number of new G-Sync-compatible displays – around thirty in all! Here’s the list:

Fixes: no more black screens with the RTX 50!
With this, NVIDIA is bringing a few fixes, including one related to video games. The latter concerns SteamVR, which can display stuttering with an RTX 50. For the rest, here’s what’s been rolled out by the chameleon:
- No more crashes on Adobe Substance 3D Sampler with R570 drivers [5083712].
- No more texture corruption in Adeobe Substance 3D Painter with ray tracing from the GPU [5091781].
- Fixed poor performance on VRay 6 in the Cuda Vpath test for Blackwell GPUs [4915763].
- Fixed various black screen issues with RTX 50 [5088957] [5100062 ] [5089089].
- Audio problems with a GPU connected via DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC at high refresh rates are a thing of the past [5104848].
- No more image corruption displayed by applications on 2D pixelated models [5071565].

Finally, let’s finish with a few problems identified by NVIDIA, two to be precise:
- Changing the state of “Show GPU activity icon in notification area” only takes effect once the PC has been restarted [4995658].
- IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL 0xa blue screens may appear in-game when HDR is active [5091576].
