ASUS’s new ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X handhelds will be available later this year – they have been confirmed for the holiday 2025 season, though no specific date has been announced yet. Another thing ASUS or Xbox has yet to reveal is the pricing of the two new models. Previous rumors suggest it will be one of the most expensive handhelds ever, and yet another leak has arrived to back up these claims, with a sizeable €300 difference between the two models.
Spanish retailer MacMan, an official partner of ASUS, recently listed early pricing details. The improved specs, including AMD’s newest Z2 processors, will make them some of the most powerful handhelds on the market, along with the MSI Claw A8. The upgrades will help these new Windows handhelds pull ahead of Valve’s popular Steam Deck.

The flagship model could cost more than $1,000
Although this isn’t a final confirmation of the pricing, it looks to be a great indication from an officially partnered storefront. Both the ROG Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X will be sold by the Spanish retailer, featuring Z2 A and Z2 Extreme processors, respectively. The product listings have since been removed, but not before some screenshots were snapped.
- ROG Xbox Ally Z2 A: €599 (~$699 USD, converted)
- ROG Xbox Ally X Z2 Extreme: €899 (~$1,050, converted)

The existing Z1 Extreme ROG Ally and Ally X cost $699 and $799 at launch, respectively, so it’s possible that the cost is being bumped up by the introduction of the new Z2 processors – especially for the flagship. During the initial reveal of the two devices, a full list of specifications was revealed – here’s everything you need to know:
