Exhibitors Shift to Digital as FFAIR’s eCommerce Orders Top £2.5M in H1 2025

Published:

FFAIR, the exhibitor management and e-commerce platform, has passed a major growth milestone supporting more than 25,000 exhibitors through its platform.

This landmark reflects a surge in adoption by event organisers over the past 24 months, with 13,296 exhibiting companies using FFAIR between January and June 2025 alone, surpassing total usage for the whole of 2024.

The rapid growth of FFAIR comes at a pivotal moment for the events industry. While in-person attendance at live events has bounced back to near pre-pandemic levels, many event teams remain leaner than before. Many forward-thinking event organisers are now looking to event tech platforms like FFAIR to help them scale more efficiently and deliver a better experience to exhibitors without increasing headcount or budget.

“Event teams continue to be under pressure to do more with less,” said Adam Jones, CEO of FFAIR. “We’re seeing a real shift. The exhibitor experience has become critical to the success of an event, especially as corporate marketing budgets tighten. Event organisers realise that it’s not just about exhibitor sales, but on retention — and that means giving their exhibitors a smoother, more satisfying pre-event experience as well as demonstrating monetary return.”

FFAIR is helping event organisers meet that challenge head-on. In the first half of 2025, the platform supported 122 events, processed 3,186 exhibitor orders of 32,133 items and generated £2.5 million in sales through the FFAIR Shop — more than double the £1.1 million total from 2024. The average order value reached £787.06, with 57% of exhibitors ordering online and 68% placing orders ahead of early bird deadlines. Event teams using FFAIR also report a significant improvement in exhibitor engagement with 95% of exhibitors now hitting their deadlines.

The platform’s success is not just about numbers, it’s about impact. FFAIR is helping event professionals reclaim their time and their sanity. “One of our biggest wins is seeing event teams get their evenings and weekends back,” said Jones. “We’ve had reports of ops teams leaving the office on time, picking up their kids from school, going fishing and investing in their own personal development. The platform is addressing the age-old problem of busy event operations departments sitting at their desks until 9pm. At FFAIR, we believe that this is what real transformation looks like.”

For exhibitors, the difference is equally clear. Many are growing tired of clunky portals and scattered communications. FFAIR’s streamlined, tailored approach simplifies the experience and makes it easier to get organised, meet deadlines and maximise their event presence.

Behind the scenes, FFAIR continues to build momentum with a growing ecosystem of suppliers, technology partners and event venues. The platform’s open and cooperative approach is winning favour among both event organisers, tech providers and event vendors who want to build flexible tech stacks and strong supply chains without being locked into rigid exclusive systems.

With 4 out of the 5 largest global event organisers now using the platform, FFAIR is currently undergoing a major development project to replatform on AWS. This will enable even greater speed and stability as adoption scales. The team is also actively expanding its international presence, with a full schedule of trade show appearances across both the UK and USA in 2025.

FFAIR’s growth hasn’t gone unnoticed by the industry. In 2024, the company was awarded Best Exhibition Technology Platform and Best CTO, alongside three additional award nominations. Its reputation continues to grow, with one in seven organisers now adopting FFAIR based on exhibitor recommendations.

With its commitment to better tech, better service and a better exhibitor experience, FFAIR is redefining what success looks like for the entirety of the event ecosystem.
